AUTHOR

LETICIA MOREINOS SCHWARTZ

Leticia is a chef, award winning cookbook author, TV host, spokesperson, and food stylist.

Born and raised in Brazil, Leticia has a BA in economics and early in her career, worked in finance. She moved to New York in 1997, where she studied Culinary and Pastry Arts at the French Culinary Institute (now International Culinary Center). Her culinary training continued at legendary New York restaurants such as Le Cirque 2000, La Grenouille, La Caravelle, and Payard Patisserie and Bistro.

Observing a gap in the editorial market for cookbooks on Brazil, Leticia went back to the International Culinary Center and studied journalism. She is the author of two cookbooks: The Brazilian Kitchen, which won an award for Best Latin Cookbook at the World Gourmand Awards, and My Rio de Janeiro: A Cookbook. Her next book, on healthy Latin cooking, will be published by Skyhorse in 2019.
