Tierney Sneed is a reporter who has covered voting rights and elections issues since 2014, first as a social issues reporter at U.S. News and World Report and now as an investigative journalist at Talking Points Memo, an online news outlet. She has also covered the health care battles of the Donald Trump presidency, as well as his attempts to politicize the 2020 census. Her work has been cited in court filings, including in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and in congressional proceedings.
Tierney was born and raised in Florida, and she graduated from Georgetown University, where she studied English and History. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her fiancé, also a reporter, and their very large cat Leo.
