Andy Smith, who was my Editor-in-Chief for Savoring Gotham, gave a great interview with the NYT today regarding why he decided to tackle this ambitious project, New York City's food history, and a few food trends today. Really fun to see Andy and Savoring Gotham in the news a full year after its initial publication...and at such an ideal time for holiday gift buying!
